A higher clamping force does ensure it stays put on the head when moving your head. The one at around 15kHz is less well damped. It has a Tesla-driver just like the Amiron and DT 1770 Pro. The headphones don't collapse or fold down, so the case is rather large, but it also houses the two cables and extra earpads. They are so comfortable you will almost forget you are wearing them.
